Dan of the Day to Switch to Chinese
April 1st, 2011After extensive market research and deliberation, Dan of the Day has decided to switch to a Chinese-language-only format to serve the largest population in the world. “This is an exciting time,” Dan said. “China is a vibrant and quickly growing nation. I am excited to take my odd brand of humor to the Middle Kingdom.”
Translation of the site is still ongoing, but you can preview the new site using the tool below. The site background image has also been rotated 180 degrees so people on the other side of the world will be able to view it right-side-up.
The English version of Dan of the Day will be unavailable beginning April 15, 2011. Dan explains, “I really don’t have the time to maintain two language versions of the site, so I have decided to focus all my efforts on this new direction.”
Dan has been studying Chinese extensively in preparation for the change-over. Asked whether he can be funny in Chinese, Dan replied, “紫色柚子!”
