I suffered from the same condition as a child.
Swift buttocks damage from my father cured my hearing damage and inattentiveness.
My Dad employed a similar method that culminated in him pioneering a technique in which he could get any of us five kids to do what ever he wanted just by giving us a look… He completely removed the vocal cords and hears from the equations!
