Perhaps it’s not universal… This does work for many things, such as your job, your health and your marriage.
What did you expect? You can’t just pick up OJ hitch-hiking and ignore him in your backseat for three days and think nothing will happen… Even OJ needs friends…

For the “ignore” trick to work you really have to “believe” that it will work. When you were being followed by these twenty cops, did you “believe” they would go away hard enough? I mean, you want to like “ignore” until you “believe” them away straight into a coma…
