I have used a similar trick in order to test the things living under my bed… Unfortunately, they are usually human and as a result I clean up a lot of chocolate wrappers…
Actually, it would take more time for him to try and combat the random thoughts rambling around in his head… This venue actually serves as a sort of pressure release valve that enables him to function mostly normally the rest of the time. With out it, then Dan might actually become truly dangerous…
This is a good test, or actually a diversion, with aliens who’ve just landed in a UFO in your back yard. Not sure whether or not they like the chocolate, but you can sneak away while they figure out the wrapper. Good wrapper beats an anal-probe any day.
